As its name implies, Chiltern Broadcast Management has deep roots in the broadcasting industry. However, today, the organisation does offer a full spectrum of communications and PR services ranging from radio and television production to graphic design to event management.
Communicating effectively with a defined target audience is our business. On the broadcast side Chiltern can offer complete project management from transmission design, studio installation and programme direction. In print Chiltern has the design, production and journalistic expertise to create a whole range of products including leaflets, brochures, newsletters and newspapers.
The key speciality of Chiltern Broadcast Management is that it is experienced in undertaking such broadcasting, print and PR projects in awkward circumstances in difficult parts of the world. Many of the projects and products are designed for dissemination in foreign languages.
Overseas commissions undertaken by Chiltern Broadcast Management personnel over recent years have included broadcast and print projects in Afghanistan, Bosnia, Kosovo, Sierra Leone and Macedonia. An EU commissioned report on future broadcasting options in Afghanistan was produced by Chiltern. Programme and transmitter consultancy work have been undertaken in Austria, Bosnia and Poland.
United Kingdom-based projects have included Garrison Radio, a joint venture with British Forces Broadcasting; a number of broadcast television documentaries; the design and equipping of a new broadcast headquarters for Choice FM, London; the full management of regular (short term) RSL radio stations; radio station Training Courses; and the production of foreign language programmes from London.

Technical
Chiltern can plan radio and television stations, design studio complexes, order and install the equipment both studio and transmission, erect towers and install antennas. Equipment can be purchased or, in appropriate circumstances, leased.
Radio
In the fields of radio programming and management Chiltern offers format research, format design, selection and recruitment of staff, sales and marketing, training in radio production and presentation techniques well as complete station management. Programme production and commercial production are our core skills. The company is familiar with the urgency and needs of emergency or crisis broadcasting abroad.
Television
Chiltern Broadcast Management provides a complete production service ranging from camera work, location shooting, post-production and video editing both for broadcast and for high end corporate video production. Chiltern can field television reporter crews and commercial production teams. We have a particular expertise in television training both in front of and behind the camera.
At the heart of our print capability lie our experienced graphic designers including a cartoonist. We are experienced in leaflet design and in newspaper layout. The foreign language capability includes the use of Arabic keyboards. The complete service includes the management of the printing and distribution processes.
Journalism
Full journalistic support is provided for all of Chiltern's programming and production services. This includes copy writing, press releases, script writing and the provision and management of Press Facilities and events.
